The Opportunity
You'll get to play a key role in delivering the communications and stakeholder relations programs to build strong community relationships for this exciting project. You will be working with a dynamic team of communications and community engagement professionals. The position will be based in the Penrith area.
The Project
CPB Contractors in joint venture with Ghella have been selected by the NSW Government to deliver the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport Station Boxes and Tunnelling Works (WSA-SBT). The project will involve the design and construction of a new metro tunnel around 9.8 kilometres in length between St Marys in the north and the Aerotropolis Core precinct in the south.
Major works commenced in 2022 and continue until 2025.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Experience in a business administration, customer service, communications or community engagement role
- Experience in planning and implementing community events and managing stakeholder relationships
- Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in problem solving and conflict management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
