An exciting opportunity is now available for a Community Engagement Officer to join our team.
About the role;
This busy and varied Customer Service role is responsible for supporting the digital community and program operations. This includes managing enquiries, providing administrative services, as well as assisting with the delivery of virtual and in-person events, and content delivered to a growing digital community.
Your primary areas of responsibility will be;
- First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial contact for members stakeholders
- Inbox Management and Member Support: Handle enquiries and manage email correspondence
- Membership Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring that agreements are signed, members are inducted, and warmly welcomed into our virtual community
- Community Building: Engage with members daily to foster a strong community and provide an exceptional member experience.
- Community Initiatives: Execute and support Community Engagement initiatives.
- Facilities Management: Assist with facilities-related tasks as needed.
- Event and Program Support: Provide backup support for events and programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations Manager and Senior Community &Programs Officer as required including creative support using tools such as Canva.
To be successful in this role you will have;
- Passion for Customer Experience: You seek a role where you can excel in delivering exceptional experiences for customers and stakeholders.
- Community Engagement: Experience in engaging online / managing multiple enquiries
- Social Media Management – Experience engaging with online communities and using creative tool such as Canva is ideal,
- Proactive Problem Solver: You are genuinely passionate about providing excellent customer service and take a proactive approach to solving challenges.
- Detail-Oriented Ownership: Your strong attention to detail and commitment to seeing tasks through from start to finish set you apart.
