Joining our team means you'll be part of something that really matters. As our Remote Community Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for supporting community and stakeholder engagement into the RESP communities that will be transitioned to Horizon Power. Facilitate the delivery of Community Engagement materials to communities, capturing of customer information to enable setup of accounts within billing systems.Your role will include:

• Assisting in delivery of the Remote Community engagement plan and associated activities remotely and within the Aboriginal Community locations.
• Supporting the development of trusted, mutually respectful relationships between the communities and Horizon Power.
• Following outcome driven Community Engagement with the goal of ensure each customer's meter is exchanged and customer data captured within agreed timeframes.
• Assist in preparing the logistics for visitations to communities between various parties.
• Accurately capturing customer data for use in Horizon Power customer billing systems.
• Supporting the Community Engagement Lead to continuously improve delivery of engagement within the communities.
• Actively manage and respond to any community issues, queries or escalation from Remote communities either raised directly by the community or Regional Service Providers.
• Provide additional customer service and administrative duties as required.
• Provide support and logistics for events as part of Community Engagement within the various communities.

You will have:

• Excellent customers service and stakeholder relations skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to proactively manage community issues.
• Ability to tailor messages to particular customers.
• Knowledge and understanding of social impacts, Community Engagement.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel throughout regional WA and into Aboriginal Communities.
• Experience in working with regional and remote communities, including Aboriginal community members and stakeholders.
• WA Drivers Licence Class “C” or “C-A.
