Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Your Opportunity:
The position of Community Engagement/Liaison - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander H2HK-Q Brisbane will:
  • Lead Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholder consultation and participation to co-design a culturally safe H2HK-Q Brisbane service; as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, to optimise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumer participation and outcomes for children and young people and their families who use the H2HK-Q service. You will work alongside other roles in the system to collaborate across departments and organisations.
Under Section s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act –1991, there is a genuine occupational
requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
