Position: Community Nurse
Location: Narre Warren, Vic 3805
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively visiting clients in their homes to provide exceptional care and support.
- Evaluating and implementing personalized care support plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Demonstrating proficiency in decision-making, critical analysis, and on-the-spot problem- solving.
- Effectively delegating tasks and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborating closely with team members and fostering positive one-on-one interactions with clients.
- Individual Risk Assessment
- IDC insertion and stoma care
- Comprehensive wound care management
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA Div 1 Nursing registration (required).
- Experience in community nursing or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both within a team and in one-on-one interactions.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, either full-time or on a casual basis.
- Ownership of a registered and insured vehicle for travel between client locations.
- Current Working with Children Check card.
- Up-to-date flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Australian working rights.
- Australian national police clearance.
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Certification.
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification.
- HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support Certification.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety, and You" Certification.
- Aphra Registration Certification.
