We are looking for a Community Nurse who has well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence and negotiate with fellow staff and a decision maker.
This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm). We can provide full training; this is a full-time permanent role ( part time - 4 days ) and will be delivering services to Eastern/ Western and Northern Suburbs . DRIVING to different areas as per roster is a must with duty office hours when required. Company car provided to take home.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with acute or Community Nursing experience with AHPRA registration.
- Full Australian driver's license .Holicare to provide a car.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written), engagement & presentation skills.
- Passionate, driven, positive and adaptable.
- Able to work autonomously and within a team.
- Organised and thorough.
- Strong computer literacy skills
Be responsible for client assessment and care planning for a diverse range of clients whilst delivering clinical care including:(but are not limited to):
- Comprehensive client assessments
- Acute and chronic wound assessment and management
- Diabetes education and monitoring
- Continence management
- Support and care of the terminally ill (in home palliative care).
- Incident management
- Medication administration
- providing clinical support to the office team
- providing support to the care workers
