Our History
The Brisbane Broncos are a professional rugby league football Club. The organisation was founded in 1987, prior to the team’s entry into the competition in 1988, as the first team outside of NSW. The Brisbane Broncos have built an iconic brand in Australian Sport and are the only publicly listed sporting franchise on the Australian Securities Exchange having grown from a total revenue of $29m in 2011 to a revenue of circa $60m in 2022.
The Club has delivered a lot of success over this time, winning six Premiership titles in the NRL Men’s competition and three Premiership titles in the NRL Women’s competition. Our vision is to become a World Class Sporting Organisation and have one of the largest fan bases in Australian sport. The Broncos are committed to the long-term development of rugby league in Queensland and the delivery of world class Community Programs focused on making a positive impact on the next generation.
About the role
The Community Programs Administrator is primary accountable for supporting the Community Operations team in creating, designing and coordinating marketing and event activities within the Brisbane Broncos Community department. Reporting to the Community Operations Manager, this role is accountable for assisting in the planning or Brisbane Broncos Community programs activities
Your primary deliverables include:
Community Engagement Activities
• Assist First Nations Regional Program Leads with logistical tasks required for Advisory meetings
• Assist First Nations Regional Program Leads with logistical tasks required for regional showcases
• Work with Operations Manager and Program managers to plan out departments engagement activities
• Schedule and coordinate teams involved in engagement activities in delivering community activations
• Report and evaluate on program engagement activities
Program Activities Administration
• Liaise with service providers including venues, accommodation, transportation and catering to obtain quotes, confirm and coordinate arrangements for program activities
• Support program activity execution including on the day execution tasks
• Prepare supporting materials for events such as name tags, signage, attendance records
• Assist in the preparation of run sheets
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with relevant stakeholders
Program Resourcing
• Maintain Bronx Hub document register
• Work with Program Managers to update and organise program collateral
Merchandise
• Assist with the distribution of student merchandise every term
• Facilitate distribute of staff apparel for all community new starters
• Facilitate student and staff apparel exchanges and adjust records
• Maintain the community stock room
• Undertake stock taking and ensure product is reconciled in the database
• Assist with merchandise and general procurement
• Lead timely distribution of merchandise and staff apparel
• Accurate inventory management
• Lead annual stocktakes.
Program Assets
• Assist with asset procurement.
Administration
• Update and manage data for event attendees in the in-house database and deliver accurate and meaningful reporting.
• Develop run sheets and other event related material in a timely manner to effectively execute calendar of events.
• Assist with the scheduling of the Community Programs activities calendar;
• Coordinate Program marketing and collateral creation with the marketing team.
• Complete program reimbursements
• Process supplier invoices in a timely manner

Key Criteria
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline (accounting, legal, contracts administration)
• Demonstrated and proven successful experience in a similar role for four or more years.
• Experience in effectively communicating with all range of stakeholders face-to-face, via phone and online.
• Demonstrated skills in report writing and administration.
• Demonstrated understanding of grant funding processes and acquittal reporting is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
• Ability to plan to deliver and work to deadlines in an unsupervised capacity.
• Demonstrated high level of writing skills for reports, presentations, submissions and speeches.
