Term contract position until 30 June 2025 – 35 hours per week
Wentworth Shire Council is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Community Recovery Officer (position is responsible for supporting Community Recovery following the severe weather and flooding in 2022).
The successful applicant with have a demonstrated knowledge within community development, capable of facilitating community consultation and self-determination. You will provide leadership and promote capacity within the community to identify needs, develop local recovery programs and assist with accessing information and resources.

The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probation period and has a commencement salary of between $86,964.12 to $93,560.84 (dependent on skills and experience) plus 11% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to successfully complete a fit for work assessment and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
