Aged Care Manager
MRC Tas offer in-home and community based services to aged and older people within the multicultural communities in Hobart. We are passionate about supporting older people to remain in their homes and maintain their social networks, and our team play an important part in helping our clients achieve this, while navigating the aged care system.
We have recently expanded our aged care team and are looking for a skilled, motivated and people-focused leader to embed our existing services and seek out further growth opportunities. Our ideal person will have experience working with the aged care standards and aged care reforms.
The position is based in Hobart and can either be full time of part time (0.8 FTE).
Mental Health Manager (Phoenix Centre)
The Phoenix Centre Program provides a range of therapeutic and individual mental health supports, prevention and early intervention, specialist trauma support and capacity building activities to people from a CALD background.
We are searching for an experienced mental health practitioner to lead our amazing team of qualified counsellors, experienced support staff and interpreters in our Phoenix Centre Program. It’s not an easy job, but the results we see in the people accessing our supports are inspiring and that brings a special kind of satisfaction – wouldn’t you agree?
This is a full time position and can be based in either Launceston or Hobart, with the requirement to travel between the locations on a regular basis.
You will bring:
- A qualification and accreditations relevant for the position;
- Program management experience with skills in leading and coaching teams;
- Experience working within quality and safety frameworks and National standards for either aged care or mental health; and
- An inclusive and compassionate approach to working with people, demonstrating respect for the different cultural diversities within our organisation and clients.
The salary for both positions is between $110,000 and $115,000 per year plus salary packaging to reduce your taxable income. We offer a supportive workplace with flexible work arrangements, professional and career development opportunities, and additional leave days.
