The Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated support work to assist our client in the Grasmere area.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Provide support to patients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
Understand and provide appropriate care to patients with low needs to patients with high needs who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviors
Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
Work under general guidance from the person seeking support, and their family, within clearly defined guidelines
To be successful in this role you will have:
Manual handling
Experience with behaviors of concern
Current drivers license
Current valid First Aid including CPR
Minimum Certificate III Individual Supports or any Social Community Qualifications
