We are a unique boutique Investment Management and Development company investing across a wide spectrum of various land and property ventures. The company’s recent focus includes but are not limited to rural land developments such as lifestyle village developments, rezoning & subdivisions, farmland developments and biodiversity offset trading. We also have a Financial Investment product managed under our own Australian Financial Services Licence. Our investment layouts are pragmatic and stays adaptively sensitive to changes and policies.
Qualifications & experience
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
- Proven ability to effectively manage time, set priorities, and organize work in an efficient manner to achieve set objectives to agreed timelines
- Proficiency in Chinese language and speaks fluent Mandarin
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to translate ideas, concepts, and information
- Proficient skills working with XERO software
- Previous experience in an accounts receivable, accounts payable, or finance officer position
- Previous Bookkeeping experience is vital
- Intermediate to advanced capability of Microsoft office products (particularly excel)
- High levels of accuracy with a strong attention to detail
- Have strong practical understanding and application of financial, tax, and payroll statutory regulations and systems.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports, and contribute to the monthly financial accounting processes including General Ledger Reconciliations, processing of journals and accruals
- Liaison with external partners and stakeholders
- Assisting in all internal and external reporting as required
- Research and understanding of corporate accounting policies and ATO requirements
- Track payments, expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and statements related to relevant projects
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing reports to balances
- Maintain historical electronic accounting records
- Research, ad-hoc and administration tasks to support Management and team members
