Company Secretary

Beaumont People are working with a leading not for profit to find a Company Secretary who will be responsible for facilitating the organisations corporate governance processes and provide advice to the board, CEO and executives on governance, legal and compliance.Responsibilities:

• Manage the organisations governance function and promote good governance practice throughout the organisation.
• Provide advice to the board, committees and executive team on legal and compliance matters.
• Develop, implement, communicate governance and compliance policies, processes and procedures.
• Provide secretarial support to the board and committees, including minute taking, agendas, papers and action items.

To be successful you will have:

• Experience in a similar role providing advice and support to boards, committees and executives.
• Knowledge of corporate governance requirements and compliance.
• Highly level of communication both written and verbal and the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience working in the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable although not essential.
