The role
We currently have an opportunity to bring on a Company Secretary who wants to work with multiple Boards in the role of an independent Company Secretary. This will require the ability to deliver the full range of Company Secretariat services, including building relationships with the Chair, CEO and Directors of these organisations. It will encompass:
- Leading and undertake all responsibilities of a Company Secretary
- Give clear advice to facilitate continuous improvement of the Board
- Maintenance of records and statutory lodgements
- Preparation, coordination and minuting of Board and Committee meetings
- Understanding Constitutional requirements
- Maintaining the Corporate Governance Framework
The role is a 2-3 day a week position.
What we are looking for
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Previous corporate governance experience
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or accounting
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
