As the Head of Legal and Company Secretary, you will be responsible for all legal, and company secretarial services in Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with and report to the Managing Director, ANZ and you will be a member of the Leadership Team.
You will be involved in a variety of strategic projects and large transactions, as well as contracts and commercial law issues, and intellectual property law arrangements. You will also advise on tenders, set policies, manage patents and compliance, and work with the business to manage risk. Additionally, you will be responsible for company secretarial.
The abilities to lead, manage, develop, and motivate a team are also essential. Superior communication skills, the abilities to work well with others, to manage multiple projects and issues and, a commercial, practical 'can do” approach are essential requirements. Critical to your success will be your capabilities and experience in leading a team through transformational change.
This role is a key senior legal role offering leadership responsibilities, autonomy, challenging and diverse work, and strategic input into the business.
