About the role
As a Complex Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will deliver high level, evidenced-based clinical intervention to people living with high Complex Behavioural needs. You will provide advice, support and coaching to front line staff and families to assist in their understanding and ensure fidelity of your program. In doing so, you will contribute to the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues engaged in direct support work. You will use your curiosity to guide you to through the steps to make you the best Behaviour Support Practitioner.
Essential requirements
- Have completed a Bachelor's degree in an applicable clinical or human services field - Psychology, Counselling, Social Work.
- Have completed a post-graduate degree in an applicable field.
- You must hold a current Drivers Licence
- You will have a blue (working with children) and yellow (positive notice card) or be willing to obtain one.
- A registered PBS practitioner with at least 2 years already in the field.
- Sound experience working with high-Complex Behavioural needs including hands on experience.
Desired requirements
- You will be currently studying the Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis, Honours or Master’s in psychology or Graduate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis
Salary starts at $112,000 plus super, and increases depending on your qualifications and experience.

We are Queensland’s biggest Behaviour Support team. We are building a dynamic hub of excellence in ABA, with BCBA, Clinical Psychology supervisors and senior clinicians on staff to support and mentor you. You will be joining a team who have studied (or are currently studying!) the same coursework as you - we ‘get’ ABA and we ‘get’ Psychology is different.
