COMPLIANCE & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The Position:
As Compliance & Development Officer, you will be responsible for the following areas: -
- Maintaining the Company’s compliance system and Legislative requirements including records management and document control
- Implementation and managing regular compliance audits & risk assessments; reporting to Supervisory Staff & WHS Officer.
- Conducting job site safety & compliance inspections across multiple sites.
- Performing internal and external audits and liaising with management.
- Enforcing compliance across the workforce and sub-contractors, with operating standards & Company procedures in both Crane Hire and Transport sectors of the business
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing as per company policy.
Education, Experience and Licencing Requirements:
Certificate IV in Work, Health & Safety and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Experienced working knowledge of safety legislation, standards, Compliance and risk management.
Understanding of COR legislative requirements & relevant experience in the Crane and/or Transport industry would be highly regarded.
The remuneration for this role will be negotiated with the successful candidate and will include a competitive rate.
This is not a FIFO or DIDO position.
