Within DCS Fair Trading, Policy & Delivery, the Long Service Corporation manages building and construction industry and contract cleaning industry portable long service schemes. We are based in Gosford and currently have a team of around 120 dedicated staff focused on improving our customers' experience.
Details are as follows:
Grade: Clerk Grade 9/10, the package includes base salary $120,859 - $133,183 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Duration: Fulltime Temporary up to 12 Months
Location: Gosford

This role is responsible for:
In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of professional compliance staff conducting complex compliance investigations targeted at ensuring the customers of LSC understand and comply with legislative obligations.
Including:
- Plan, direct and manage timely risk-based compliance programs focused on identifying non-compliant behaviour within the relevant industry.
- Prepare, present and review evidence, reports and submissions in order to make thoughtful recommendations for the direction of strategic compliance activities.
- Provide technical and operational advice to management, industry and other stakeholders on relevant legislation administered by the organisation to ensure systemic compliance.
- Provide support to the wider Compliance team to ensure agreed programs of work are completed to agreed timelines, including resolving escalations and making decisions in line with delegations. The role has up to 7 direct reports.
- Participate in committees, working groups and forums and provide advice to ensure consideration is given of the agency's strategic compliance objectives.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate IV in Government (Investigations)
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team to ensure collective and individual objectives are met.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the formal conduct of investigations, evidence gathering and review process.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and spoken
- Current NSW Driver's licence and ability and willingness to drive to various locations in NSW
