This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a true passion for sustainability, and an ambition to make an impact in your role, and to raise social and environmental standards. This role with be a 6 Month Max Term contract (3 days per week).
You will gain industry experience working with THE ICONIC’s sustainability team as well as directly with our Own Brand teams, suppliers and factories. It is an opportunity for a motivated and dynamic team player to contribute to an important phase of our sustainability journey.
About the role:
- As a sustainability and Social Compliance Coordinator your key role will be assisting in the continued implementation of THE ICONIC’s ethical sourcing and Social Compliance programs
- Working with our GFG sourcing office and local Own brand team to ensure that we meet our compliance requirements through administrative support of our factory audit and governance programme. This will include coordinating social audit and factory visit planning to ensure all factories are regularly audited and complete improvement plans based on THE ICONIC’s requirements.
- Supporting other sustainability projects across the business as required
- Supporting the delivery of sustainability reporting requirements and development of sustainability communications materials
- Working collaboratively in a small but highly functioning team to meet shared objectives
