About the Job
Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our member communication and marketing strategy ensuring that our members are well-informed and engaging with their Rest accounts.
You will undertake compliance reviews of Rest’s Digital, Brand and Member Experience content, ensuring it aligns with the latest regulatory and legislative standards. You'll play a critical role in the Due Diligence process to enable seamless, clear, and compliant communication between Rest and our members.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
  • Conduct compliance Due Diligence reviews for all Digital, Brand and Member Experience content included in communications and digital experiences provided to our Members.
  • Ensure that the content generated by Rests’ Digital, Brand and Member Experience is compliant and aligned to industry best practice whist accurately representing Rest’s Vision and Brand
  • Be the Compliance SME for review of Digital, Brand and Member Experience content and make recommendations for and manage engagement with the internal legal team as required.
  • Provide content compliance advice and guidance to the Digital, Brand and Member Experience Leadership teams, representing Line 2 Compliance
  • Provide ongoing training to develop the Rest Digital, Brand and Member Experience teams’ knowledge regarding advertising and marketing compliance and industry best practice.
Qualifications
About You:
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, law, economics or business, or equivalent professional experience and industry qualifications.
  • Membership of professional bodies such as the Risk Management Institute of Australia (RMIA) or the Australian Compliance Institute (ACI).
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
  • Proven experience in a regulatory or compliance related role in financial services, including experience in a superannuation related role.
  • Experience reviewing advertising and marketing material and customer journeys across digital, direct and mass media.
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to super trustees including areas such as the SIS Act & Regulations, Corporations Act & Regulations, APRA’s Prudential Standards, the Privacy Act and the AML/CTF Act.
  • RG146 compliance in the superannuation industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience applying the SPAM Act, ASIC Regulatory Guidance relating to advertising and marketing to superannuation members
  • Sound understanding of frameworks designed to mitigate compliance risks
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment would be advantageous
