We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our fun, collaborative and hard working team. If you have previous experience in corporate compliance in either private or public sectors and want to develop your career, this might be the role for you.
In addition to supporting the organisation to ensure that its operations are conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, you will provide support in risk management, governance support (such as policy development and review) and develop reporting and data insights to understand compliance performance.
Can be based in any of the following locations: Parramatta/Newcastle/Wollongong/Central Coast with infrequent travel to Parramatta required.

About you:
You will have previous exposure to regulatory work environments.
You will have strong issues management skills with experience in conducting compliance reviews, identifying compliance issues and experience in developing reports which identify compliance trends and recommend improvements. Experience with public sector-specific regulatory requirements would be beneficial (GIPA, SO52, PID) as would experience with records management systems, although not necessary.
This role would suit both compliance professionals as well as legal professionals seeking to broaden their repertoire to corporate governance.
