The Opportunity
Findex is currently seeking a Compliance Officer to join our dynamic and professional Compliance team, supporting the Centric platform. This is a full-time, permanent role, flexible to be based anywhere in Australia for the right person.
The Compliance Officer role is focused on the adequate resolution of disputes, concerns or errors that may arise for Centric and supporting the wider compliance function to embed effective and consistent compliance processes within Centric.
What will your typical week look like?
Register and maintain complaint matters received from our clients
Manage and investigate client complaints, through liaising with Clients, Advisers, and support staff both verbally and in written form
Identify errors and assist in implementing controls
Engage with various departments and stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve a fair and equitable outcome for both Clients and the Business
Drive the efficient review and quality control of all transactions and issues, including complaint cases, errors and escalated enquiries
Determine the root cause analysis of disputes received to identify areas of improvement
Ensure all corrective and preventative actions are taken at the completion of all case investigations
Assist in developing processes and provide compliance advice and guidance to the Group under the guidance of the Senior Compliance Manager
Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of management reports
Assist the Senior Compliance Manager in other tasks as required

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
Relevant tertiary qualifications, as well as dispute resolution qualification preferred but not essential
Completion of a financial services compliance course (highly regarded, but not essential)
Experience in written and verbal communication with clients
Experience liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience in Complaints/Disputes Case Management
Knowledge of Financial Services practices including platforms and superannuation
Competent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Root Cause Analysis Skills
Knowledge of Process & Quality Assurance
