As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join us as a Training and NHVR Compliance Officer.
As a Training and NHVR Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organisation remains fully compliant with all regulations set forth by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). You will also be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of our workforce, ultimately contributing to a culture of safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret NHVR regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance across all aspects of our operations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with NHVR requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees at all levels, covering topics such as NHVR regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.
- Serve as a resource for employees seeking guidance or clarification on NHVR compliance issues.
- Stay abreast of changes to NHVR regulations and industry standards, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of compliance, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the team.
Qualifications:
- MC Licence and relevant RII Statement of Attainment
- Training & Assessing Cert 4 (TAE40122)
- Work experience in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, transportation, occupational health and safety, training).
- Demonstrated knowledge of NHVR regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Monitor and interpret NHVR regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance across all aspects of our operations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret regulations and identify areas for improvement.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification or accreditation in NHVR compliance or related areas is a plus.
This role is on a 5/2 and 4/3 roster and is located in Dysart, Qld
