The Role: 

Southern Contracting Group PTY LTD are seeking an experienced Manager who can take on management of our Concrete division. This role will require you to demonstrate leadership and guidance to Southern Contracting Groups Concrete teams across various locations within South Australia and Northern Territory. 

You will be responsible for the following;  

Oversee the efficient operations of multiple concrete plants (fixed & mobile)  

Manage and lead teams of people including AGI drivers, batcher, batch plant supervisors and more 

Maintain inventory control of all raw concrete materials 

Undertake frequent visits to inspect site works, provide “in-field” staff coaching, mentoring, and ensuring workforce/leadership alignment with Southern Contracting Group’s Values and culture  

Drive a high-performance safety culture, ensuing all project personnel understand and comply with project HSE policies, management plans, objectives and KPI’s.  

Generate regular reports on crew performance, project status, and business development activities for management  

Growth and development to improve fixed plant locations

Full time Salary (Monday–Friday) 

Based in Adelaide head office  

Some travel will be required to various sites  

Company vehicle for work and personal use provided  

Company phone provided  

Superannuation paid in addition  

Immediate start date available  

Skills & Experience  

Proven experience in the concrete industry and concrete operations 

Must hold a Driver's License  

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff 

Extensive safety knowledge and awareness  

General knowledge for use of software's such as Microsoft, excel, word, office 365/emails  

High work ethic
