Our Condition Monitoring Specialists play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our assets. Reporting to the Condition Monitoring Supervisor, this role will lead, support and mentor a team of Lubrication Technicians. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive lubrication program to maximise equipment lifespan and prevent costly breakdowns at Iron Bridge.
Key Responsibilities- Safe and effective supervision of the Lubrication Technician team including the coaching, mentoring and development of personnel
- Provide visible positive leadership by demonstrating safe behaviours and displaying the Fortescue values
- Managing the effective utilisation and operation of all assets whilst ensuring all scheduled works are completed to a high standard
- Providing subject matter expertise on lubrication issues, oil analysis interpretation and maintenance integrity of lubrication watchlist
- Manage Single Point Lubricator (SPL) installations and ensure servicing of SPL units are completed in timely manner whilst maintaining integrity of the program
- Identification of continuous improvement opportunities and implementation strategies to support production
- Significant experience in a leadership role with a passion for coaching and people development alongside the ability to engage and empower teams
- A proven commitment to safety with highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written skills
- Relevant Trade Qualification (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of lubrication principles and practices
- Experience with a broad range of greases, oils, and lubrication equipment with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and lubrication charts
- Proficiency working with SAP highly desirable
