We are looking to appoint a Condition Monitoring Technician to support our customer's operation at the Opal B9 Botany Mill.
The primary purpose of the Condition Monitoring Technician role is to support the implementation and continuous development of the site's condition monitoring program.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to
Provide reliability and improvement focus for all plant and equipment
Provide high-level condition monitoring service.
Maintain and analyse condition monitoring data.
Actively identify site reliability issues by analyzing data and plant performance.
Provide detailed reporting on Vibration analysis, thermography & oil analysis when required.
Maintaining successful customer relationships.
Provide mentoring of trades and team members in the areas of condition monitoring best practices.
Focus on supporting and achieving set business & departmental performance KPIs
Engage in the short-term, medium-term and long-term activities required to maintain the plant.
Contribute to Shutdowns management and associated planning.
Manage & execute assigned shutdown work supervision & activities.
Completion of assigned corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
Provide effective cross-functional area support.
Drive Site Engineering standards.
Participate in Mechanical on-call roster.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Mechanical Trade qualification and/or Reliability background
Strong understanding of condition-monitoring principles and mechanical aptitude
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
An understanding and commitment to OH&S
Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills
A working knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems
