We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of our annual events, including venue selection, vendor management, budget tracking, registration management, and on-site logistics.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end event management including but not limited to:
- Identify and secure the appropriate venue for the conference.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiation of contracts and service agreements.
- Manage budget for the conference.
- Coordinate registration and attendee management, including communication and follow-up with delegates, speakers and sponsors.
- Plan and coordinate all logistics for the conference, including transportation, catering, accommodations and more.
- Oversee on-site management of the conference, including setup and teardown, AV and technical support, and attendee support.
- Process daily registrations from delegates.
- Assist with bookkeeping and accounts receivables.
- Answer the customer service line.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field or equivalent experience. Graduates are welcomed.
- Experience in conference coordination or event management highly regarded.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy to work independently and part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience in EventsAir advantageous but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
