About the Role
As the conference and Events Coordinator you will assist and lead administration duties for Higher Mark Events an support the Event Coordination team with all coordination facets of Higher Mark including but not limited to Geelong Football Club internal events, Kardinia Park Stadium Trust events and Higher Mark events.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and/or produce accurate Event Orders for Higher Mark events, Hospitality team for Internal Events, DCCC Catering orders, AFLM, AFLW, VFL, VFLW internal team catering and internal staff meeting catering
- Administration support for all Corporate Hospitality event spaces on AFL game days held at GMHBA Stadium, and produce event orders where requested and required
- Assist when required in the Food and Beverage Operation on AFL Match Days and Conference and Events department.
- General Administration duties such as way finding and signage, menu and label printing
- Develop strong working relationships across all area’s of the Higher Mark and Geelong Football Club
- To work closely with the Hospitality Operations team to ensure service delivery is to the agreed set standard
- To assist in developing strong customer and business relationships with existing and potential clients so as to obtain high levels of return business.
- Display and uphold the Geelong Cats Guiding Principles and a commitment to Higher Mark and Geelong Cats policies, procedures and guidelines
About You
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and knowledge of the hospitality sector
- Ability to work independently and within a team to achieve identified KPI’s
- Demonstrate competent computer knowledge (word, excel, outlook, VenueOps)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant administrative position (desired)
- Current Work With Children Check & National Police Check
