Our client is a leading building certification specialist in queensland boasting over 100 staff members. They specialise in residential and commercial Building Surveying and currently have a strong focus and market presence in B2C focussed business. They are now looking to expand into B2B clientele and require an experienced BDM with construction knowledge (building permit process knowledge would be preferred but not essential)
THE ROLE

Manage and nurture relationships with new business accounts, develop markets, and contribute to overall organizational success. DUTIES
- Identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Identify key target markets and customer segments, and tailor strategies to address their specific needs.
- Analyze industry regulations and standards to stay informed about changes and opportunities.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and cold calling.
- Collaborate with the Sales specialists and marketing team to create effective lead generation campaigns.
- Nurture new business and develop strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, referral and encourage repeat business
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Provide regular reports and updates on the progress of Business Development efforts.
- Business Development Specialist plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships and driving growth for new clients.
- Keep up-to-date records of client interactions in our CRM system.
