Our current projects include defence, veterinary hospital, various civil works, and remote housing, with upcoming projects including a wider range of commercial and industrial maintenance and construction.
Reporting to the Project Manager, we are looking for someone who can:
- Assist in estimating new projects and respond to tenders alongside the Project Manager.
- Prepare a scope of works and review subcontractor documents.
- Participate in safety inspections and audits onsite.
- Assist Project and Site Managers with project tasks.
- Work independently and be a part of a small team.
- Think outside the box and go the extra mile for our employees and clients.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Tertiary qualification in Construction or Administration (or due to complete).
- Current Queensland driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Construction White card.
- National Police Certificate (Criminal History Check).
- Basic knowledge of the construction approvals process and industry.
- The flexibility to travel as required, with local site and some interstate travel required from time to time.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with anyone and can-do attitude.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing D&A testing.
