Qualifications & Experience
Construction Coordinator/Administration Position
- Experience as Construction Coordinator /Administration role in Building & Construction Industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ASANA, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office (highly desirable)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to multi-task
Tasks & responsibilities
- Overall document control for assigned projects. Administrative support with pre-construction information such as consent applications and permits etc. Preparation of construction-related documents.
- Manage project assignment of tasks in ASANA.
- Ensuring all project documents are saved and maintained in our system.
- Manage onsite construction tasks such as safe work method statement SWMS documentation, prior to commencing site work.
- Manage the office electronic filing (Project Correspondence etc) Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, records, and documentation.
- DA/CC and or CDC Preparation, tracking and implementation
- Reading through DA Consents to identify and address issues that need to be attended to for Construction Certificate Approval (highly desirable)
- Liaising with internal and external customers including Councils, Certifiers, suppliers etc
- Familiarity with quality assurance, contract documentation and interpretation of drawings and material take-offs.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as requested by Manager.
