Construction Manager

The CompanyRobLawMax is partnered with a globally emerging mining business who has significantly invested in the development of their flagship asset. Currently embarking on a number of capital projects covering the expansion and doubling of existing process plant capacity, the business are also committed to the development of downstream processing facilities and energy projects. With a globally significant ore body behind them, they’ve achieved tremendous growth with a core focus on sustainability and critical minerals development across Asia.

The Role

As the Construction Manager, you will form part of the senior leadership team within the project to drive the construction of the plant that is currently being executed. There’s been a change in the delivery methodology, and close collaboration with engineering and construction contracting partners is paramount, working with stakeholders to drive activities safely to budget and schedule. You will bring expertise in wet plant multi-disciplinary construction in the mining sector. The role is preferable to a candidate willing to be residential in this coastal Asian location, a very rare setting for such a significant mining asset, however they may also consider FIFO on a 6/2 roster.

To be considered for this Construction Manager position you must possess:

• Bachelor qualifications in Engineering or Trade qualifications backed by relevant industry exposure
• Previous history as an expatriate delivering large-scale multi-disciplinary projects safely through the construction phase
• Proven exposure leading large multinational teams in a client-side environment
• An ability to work on a FIFO basis or relocate residentially to SE Asia

In this position, you’ll add another major international mining project to your repertoire. You’ll have responsibility to work within the project leadership unit to move construction safely on budgt and schedule.
