We are seeking an available CONSTRUCTION MANAGER who is looking for their next opportunity based here in Brisbane.
The Position:
- Ensure efficient planning, scheduling, and costing of all work.
- Ensure project margins are managed proactively and stakeholders update as soon as possible regarding any unforeseen changes.
- Proficient technical compliance
- Maintain a harmonious and collaborative quality focused team of trades.
- Control site cleanliness and organisation to a high standard, including controlling supply deliveries.
- Direct all onsite activities on a day-to-day basis ensuring each project is well organised to enable an efficient build program, within the given time frame and budget.
- Thorough understanding of the Work Health & Safety Regulations in order to ensure compliance and safe work methods.
- Management of quality control.
- Live ongoing project planning and executing best practice construction methodology and sequencing for maximum efficiency from beginning to end of construction.
The Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management
- 15+years' exposure to construction projects.
- Proficiency with QA processes, testing and documentation.
- Experience in managing subcontractors & liaising with the client.
- A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
- Positive references from previous employers, demonstrating a stable employment history.
