At the same time, our sustainability experts also support our clients on their sustainability journeys.The team’s vision is to bring an informed approach to supporting our client’s response to increasing regulatory and reporting requirements, stakeholder expectations as well as supporting clients to have sustainability principles at their core.Current opportunityAs a Consultant within our Sustainability team, you’ll be responsible for delivering high quality outputs to help our clients meet their sustainability-related objectives. You will be able to handle non-routine problems and situations, at times working independently with minimal guidance or supervision.You will partner with our internal and external stakeholders to propose and deliver solutions for clients across a full suite of strategic sustainability services, including climate-related advisory services, sustainability strategies, ESG risk and materiality assessment, and sustainability reporting services.Key Relationships:

What you’ll be doing
  • Executing sustainability services, which may include climate and sustainability related risk analysis, scenario analysis modelling, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories, strategy development, materiality assessment, and sustainability reporting
  • Creating and supporting growth opportunities through the active development of market facing material and stakeholder networks, and leveraging existing client relationships
  • Developing and maintaining tools to conduct qualitative and qualitative analysis
  • Preparing written reports of a high quality and standard, working to budgets and timelines
  • Participating in solution development workshops with various stakeholders
  • Participating in engagement with client Boards, Senior Management and Staff to ensure objectives are met and risks are mitigated.
What you’ll need to succeedThis is a client-facing consulting role utilising your ESG/sustainability background gained within a professional services or consulting firm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service outcomes for all clients.
  • Knowledge of national and global ESG and sustainability reporting environment that embraces Australian Sustainability Reporting Standard, GHG Protocol, SBTi, UNSDG, SASB, and GRI will be highly regarded
  • A good understanding of national climate related policies and the NGER, Safeguard Mechanism, and Emissions Reduction Fund legislation would be preferred
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience in strategic analysis, quantitative analysis or project management, applied in relation to sustainability and climate change desirable
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and research skill
  • Strong passion for ESG and sustainability space with applied experience in delivering solutions for clients in response to ESG challenges
  • Ability to challenge clients thoughtfully, while developing relationships to support their ESG aspirations.
