Senior Specialist/Specialist - Non-Invasive Cardiology

The Hospital:
This is a 305-bed facility and is the main referral hospital for the region, now providing integrated cancer care services in Central Queensland in the newly established building boasting state of the art medical equipment.

Situated close to stunning beaches, perfect for snorkelling, scuba diving and boating and surrounded by the Ranges/Mountain thus creating an impressive backdrop for the vibrant City and coast.

Mandatory qualification:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Specialist Cardiologist (or equivalent).
- Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging subspecialty training with accreditation in Level 2 Adult Echocardiography as per CSANZ requirements (or equivalent).
- Evidence of active participation in a Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD).
- Evidence of current minimum echocardiography volumes demonstrating Level 2 CSANZ competency.
- Demonstrate clinical and academic research skills and experience.
