The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Australian Steel Market business in our BlueScope Steel Direct team in Port Kembla NSW as a Contact Centre Representative.

Working within a supportive and customer experience focused team, you will gain invaluable exposure working across multiple business streams and stakeholders where you can grow your professional knowledge and experience with an iconic Australian company.

What Will You Do?

As the first point of contact for consumers, trades and professionals you will:

  • respond to enquiries and provide product and technical information about our premium brands and products or link them to the internal teams to address their concerns
  • develop internal relationships with key stakeholders from the technical, innovation, sales and marketing communities
  • provide insights to our internal sales, marketing, technical and innovation teams
  • identify improvements with our systems and processes, assisting with implementing changes

  • ability to multitask between phone, email and website enquiries

  • excellent attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues and identify solutions
  • high level of computer competency and ability to learn our IT systems quickly including Salesforce, and Microsoft Office
  • a thirst for learning and taking on new challenges and initiatives
