The Scheme is opening an office in Perth CBD and looking to recruit staff from mid-2024 onwards.
The Contact Team is seeking enthusiastic and empathic individuals with great communications skills to join our newly established Perth office.
The Contact Team is responsible for conducting inbound and outbound calls, delivering updates and application outcomes to survivors and their nominees, and the redirection of call enquires to relevant sections for appropriate response.
All successful applicants will be placed into a merit pool and offers will be made as vacancies become available.
Contact Officers take responsibility for answering inbound calls to the Scheme’s 1800 line from applicants, their nominees, and survivors who may not have submitted an application yet.
They are also responsible for making a range of outbound calls to applicants or their nominees, ensuring that all interactions are trauma informed, respectful, and safe.
Clear, articulate and concise communication skills are essential for this role as Contact Officers are required to independently manage and resolve complex enquires.
Please note this position requires you to work on-site.
