Digital Matter is seeking a dynamic and strategic Content Marketing Manager (B2B) to join our growing global marketing team based in Perth, Western Australia.

We excel in battery-powered IoT asset tracking and offer a diverse range of tracking and sensor monitoring products for various applications, from vehicles and equipment management to wildlife and endangered species tracking.

Our comprehensive solutions encompass hardware design, development, and manufacturing, in-house software development, and firmware development. It is a technical business! 

    

The Role  

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Content Marketing Manager (B2B) to join our growing global marketing team.

Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing, you’ll lead the development and execution of our global Content Marketing strategy, collaborating with our sales, engineering and marketing teams to ideate and create captivating content, campaigns and strategies that engage our target audiences, build brand awareness and drive demand.

You don’t need to be an engineer, but you will be expected to be excited by technology and have a desire and ability to learn and understand the technical concepts and how they shape our product offering and marketing message.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take ownership of a global Content Marketing strategy and is keen to grow with a leading and scaling technology company. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and own a comprehensive Content Marketing and distribution strategy that aligns with overall business growth objectives and target audience needs at a global and regional scale
  • Manage the end-to-end content production process, from ideation to writing and publication, creating high-quality, technically accurate content across all channels including our websites, blog, email, social media, presentations, video and marketing collateral 
  • Develop a content calendar and ensure consistent and timely content delivery across various platforms, maintaining alignment with internal teams and product release schedules 
  • Collaborate with global sales and channel partners to manage and produce regular case studies to effectively showcase and differentiate our solutions across verticals 
  • Work closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist to produce and optimise content for SEO to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to our websites 
  • Take ownership of our social media presence and develop campaigns, ensuring they align with our brand identity while prioritizing technical accuracy 
  • Produce email campaigns to engage and educate partners as well as nurture and convert leads using HubSpot CRM 
  • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement 
  • Manage updates to technical specs on the website and other marketing collateral as required 
  • Work closely with and manage external agencies as required including developing clear briefs for developers and designers 
     

Qualifications 

  • University qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field required
  • 4+ years of experience in strategic content writing and marketing, with significant experience in B2B roles an advantage 
  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills and high attention to detail is critical
  • Experience in writing and optimising content for SEO required
  • An impressive portfolio demonstrating the production of a wide range of content for various stages of a long buying cycle
  • Ability to understand the technical concepts in the IoT market
  • Experience in tech, engineering, IoT, telematics, SaaS space will be highly regarded
  • Experience turning complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content
  • Experience in social media management, demand generation, email marketing, lead nurturing highly regarded
  • A data-driven mindset and analytical skills with the ability to analyse performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Superior organisational skills, ability to manage projects across multiple teams and workstreams at any given time
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to assist with on-brand content creation (blogs, case studies etc)
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Experience using HubSpot CRM is highly regarded
