We are seeking a marketing specialist, who can strategize, create and curate fresh and meaningful content for our marketing, awards and communication platforms. We’re looking for a communication guru who understands how the whole comms mix can work together to pack a punch and have a lasting impact.

The role:
- Working with our Head of Marketing and global design teams, you’ll be responsible for implementing targeted content and communication initiatives to promote our projects, people, insights and ideas in alignment with our new brand strategy.
- Ensuring internationally relevant content is feed into our marketing channels including, but not limited to social media, website, email marketing and awards entries.
- Coordinating and managing digital assets with external contractors such as digital marketing, copywriters, PR, photographers and graphic designers.
- Acting as the gatekeeper for our marketing and business development collateral, working collaboratively with our architects and design teams to produce case studies, project profiles, and thought leadership content. Keeping your finger on the pulse of what’s available in our marketing materials and ensuring content is up to date.
- Working with an external digital agency, monitor our social media accounts and online presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
- Coordinating the practice’s design awards entries, ensuring all submissions are of the highest quality and submitted on time
- Researching and stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in content and communications
- At monthly meetings, reporting on content and communication initiatives. You’ll track engagement and use this to refine storytelling, and help Plus comms overall, tap into the narratives relevant to contemporary architecture.
This role requires a strategic thinker and problem solver; someone who is organised and eloquent, able to take instruction and use initiative. To excel in this role, you will need to be proactive, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work autonomously and at times, under pressure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
3+ years of experience in a content marketing or communications role, ideally within the architecture or design industry. - Demonstrated success in developing and implementing content marketing and communication strategies that have driven business results.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality content, including copy, video, graphics, and photography.
- Experience managing a content calendar and developing content themes and topics.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, external agencies, and vendors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, experience in managing and reporting on social media accounts.
- A strong attention to detail, excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency/experience with: Adobe Creative Suite, Campaign Monitor/Mail Chimp and Digital Asset Management software such as Open Asset.
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track and report on the effectiveness of content and communication initiatives. - Knowledge of HTML and CSS, and experience working with website content management systems.
