PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Position Overview
As a Content Services Operator, you'll prepare all broadcast media for playout and video-on-demand, ensuring the high quality of our clients’ on-air content and the seamless broadcast of their content to their audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare all media for broadcast across all clients of NPC.
- Quality check all material for broadcast quality and legal compliance.
- Input metadata into Media Asset Management system.
- Source and check captions where applicable.
- Handle and prioritise late arriving material for fast turnaround on-air.
- Liaise with clients for acquiring missing material needed for upcoming broadcast.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships across business units.
- Other duties as reasonably required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Essential Experience & Skills
- Strong verbal communicator with the ability to ensure messages are delivered in a concise and timely manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload in an on-air environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Desirable Experience & Skills
- Experience in a TV broadcast environment.
- Knowledge of the Code of Practices for Television Broadcasters and other Legal requirements.
- Certificate IV or BA in Media Production Techniques or similar.
