Key Accountabilities:
- Content that is on strategy and brand, is conceived of and developed, as required.
- Effective written material is provided for print, website, socials, video, audio (e.g. speaking notes).
- Collaborating with the Communications team as necessary to understand context and scope, and providing assistance on other content projects where necessary.
- Further research and interviews is conducted to build on briefs, as required.
- Copy for publication is reviewed to ensure conformity with accepted rules of grammar, style and format, coherence of story, and accuracy, legality, and probity of content.
- The creation and maintenance of a story bank, including Client stories, Volunteer stories, Donor stories and Staff stories is in place and utilised.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on written work across the organisation. Directly editing work to improve quality of output, as required.
- Using data to iterate and improve content.
- In partnership with subject matter experts, regularly reviewing existing content, to ensure it is current and achieves our goals.
- Strong working relationships are developed and maintained with internal stakeholders, enabling strategic and operational objectives to be met.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Completion of a relevant university degree.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role.
- Experience with content marketing is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of writing engaging content.
- Experience writing in a broad mix of content formats – print, web, socials, newsletters, etc.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
