Client & Job:
Innovative, sustainable, environmentally friendly solution-led manufacturing company. With over 40,000 employees across more than 100 locations globally, they are looking to expand their S&OP department here in Sydney and employ a Continuous Improvement Lead.
The position would suit a versatile and independent Lean expert, someone with the ability to look at data quickly and process solutions to get results. A must for this position is exceptional Excel skills, and emotional intelligence as you will be the go-to between the Operations - Manufacturing & Production, Commercial & Sales, S&OP, and Design Teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- A multifaceted position, that would suit a creative, resilient, organised, solution focussed Engineer
- Lead Operational Excellence to develop Lean / CI standards and further embed them into the company
- Focus on Performance Management, Root Cause Analysis, Cost Improvement
- Lead change initiatives, focussing on reducing waste in the plant - transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing & Defects
- Consulting with internal and external stakeholders and management
- Willingness if you don't have a Lean Belt to work towards yellow and green belt
- Program Management - roll out onsite training sessions, lean frameworks that you have developed
- Building cohesion and high-level team performances
You:
Applicants will have 5 years of relevant experience. Depending on the individual, you might be from a consultancy rather than a manufacturing, or production background.
Advanced Excel skills are essential, and a passion for all things Lean is a must - Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, TPS, Tim Woods, Value Stream, Root Cause

Salary:
