Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join the Bairnsdale team. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement within the organisation.
 

• Take charge of leading and facilitating improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiencies, identifying operational issues, and implementing waste reduction initiatives at the site.
• Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other recognised improvement frameworks.
• Leverage your expertise to identify deficiencies and provide recommendations for process, training, or work practice improvements based on your experience.
• Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement by encouraging innovation and proposing new ideas to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate closely with the production, maintenance, and quality departments to identify and execute Continuous Improvement initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach across the organisation.

Profile:

The preferred candidate should bring forth demonstrated leadership proficiency in roles spanning production, operations, engineering, or Continuous Improvement, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sectors. Profound expertise in Lean methodologies and a solid track record of effectively executing process improvements are crucial attributes we seek.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Continuous Improvement/Process Engineer
• Background in FMCG or manufacturing plants preferred.
• Experience/knowledge in Automation or Mechatronics is a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and/or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to identify operational inefficiencies and drive improvements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
