About your role
In this newly created role, you will be the driver of Continuous Improvement (CI) throughout all of Pace’s operations on a national basis. You will streamline current operations and implement Lean Manufacturing principles and frameworks and this will include real-time operational reviews, standards development, and delivery of industry best practice CI behaviours (e.g. reporting, time, cost & waste management, & sustainability initiatives) across the company.
You will also undertake ongoing analysis via key internal and external stakeholders to determine solutions for process improvements and to optimise performance of production and distribution systems. Importantly, you will schedule and report on regular process audits as well as tracking CI actions for senior management and product teams.
Your skills, experience & qualifications
- Tertiary qualified in a Technical / Business discipline, with existing Lean / Six Sigma accreditation.
- Outstanding interpersonal, stakeholder management and consulting expertise.
- Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively, underpinned by exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Deep working experience in a similar role to date and ideally gained in a dynamic Food Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Distribution production environment.
- Highly proficient Microsoft Office and other relevant reporting and analysis software.
