F9 Project Services Perth WA
Salary $70-85,000
F9 Project Services are an established and dynamic project controls firm, providing a wide range of expert, professional and strategic services to many major companies in the resources and construction sectors.
F9 provides planning, scheduling, cost control, forensic planning, claims assistance and project management services to support its client’s requirements during any part of the project life cycle.
The Role:
F9 has an opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our team, Perth based.
You will be offered the opportunity to work on prominent projects for our clients throughout Western Australia and beyond.
The Contract Administrator is responsible for the upstream and downstream of contractual administration across major Construction projects.
The role is critical to support the Planning Team in meeting and exceeding projects’ quality, time, and cost targets’ expectations with minimal risk.
In performing your duties, you will be able to call upon and be supported by the F9 team of resources and construction industry professionals. Our team comes from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, providing a diversity of experience and insight.
Duties:
· Prepares, and negotiates contract terms, reviews, and updates existing contracts.
· Maintains contract documentation and schedules.
· Proactively answers inquiries and finds solutions to contract-related issues.
· Assists Project Managers in maintaining contract schedules, reports, and registers, reviewing
invoices, generating payment schedules, process variations, and developing contract plans.
· Ensures all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.
· Undertakes contract analysis and provides advice to the business.
· Works in conjunction with the Project Manager, Design Manager, and Construction Manager to ensure on-time delivery of all goods and services.
· Communicates changes in the business’s legal obligations to the relevant company’s stakeholders.
Personal Attributes and Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have 3 or more years’ experience of Contract Administration experience within the Construction industry and be a confident and self-motivated individual who can work with a high degree of autonomy, whilst also maintaining a strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity to their work. The successful candidate will also possess exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
Candidates ideally should be able to demonstrate the necessary skills through their previous Contract Administration experience.
The following experience, qualification and attributes are also highly desirable:
· Business Administration qualification or qualifications related to contract drafting and negotiation
· Proficient in MS Office skills.
· Data analysis and reporting skills.
· Problem-solving skills.
