Contract Administrator

Redpath Partners are proud to be working with the construction arm of an up and coming property development group who are being heavily backed and have major growth plans for 2023/2024.

They are looking to onboard a Contract Administrator to work closely alongside a Senior and a Project Manager on an initial mid-rise apartment build in South Sydney, hybrid role between office in the CBD and site.

Responsibilities:

• Review, negotiate, and administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate contract records, including change orders, correspondence, and other relevant documents.
• Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks, resolving conflicts and managing disputes as they arise.
• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including developers, builders, subcontractors, suppliers, and legal teams.
• Monitor project costs, review payment applications, and manage invoices to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Experience:

• Strong understanding of the Australian construction industry, including building codes, regulations, and apartment construction practices.
• Previous experience in contract administration within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on residential or apartment construction projects.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, contract law, and standard contract documents.
• Proficiency in project management principles, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
