About the Role:
You must have experience delivering projects to financial stakeholders:
The finance team relies heavily on individuals who understand and can deliver using finance terminology. You must be able to maintain crucial relationships with stakeholders such as charted accountants. You must have an understanding of accruals, prepayments, debtors' days, outstanding invoices, balance sheets, profit analysis etc.
Business Analyst Skillsets (65% effort)
- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements across Global based stakeholders
- Documenting As-IS and To Be processes.
- Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is understood across all stakeholders.
- Designing and Implementing testing of solutions (working with technical team). Traceability matrix
- Change management support
- Preference is BABOK certified.
- Development of the Project Plan and tracking key milestones
- Identification of Risks; Issues; and capturing of Actions; Decisions (RAID)
- Reporting and presenting project status management reports
- Flexibility is essential byt likely waterfall methodology, with internal agile sprints for development
- Effective stakeholder engagement. Great listener and communicator. Confident presenter.
- Critical thinking. Can understand and analyse problems and find solutions.
- Problem solving. Thought leadership.
- Decision making. Prioritisation skills; Assessing viable solution options.
- Documentation and writing skills.
- Experience delivering technical solutions to a Finance audience.
