The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager based at the Emerald depot reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Executive team and Operations team, run the process to create, analyze, negotiate, and execute contracts;
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, and attend meetings;
- Maintain contract related documents, correspondence and contact details. Responsible for maintaining Contracts database and storing all documentation in accordance for EMC’s records management guidelines;
- Ensure Fleet compliance and adherence to contractual scope of work – accreditations /licenses / inspections / safety requirements;
- Keep track of contracts and extend, renew, or close them out;
- Monitoring clients KPI’s and investigate incidents (Risk Management Committee);
- Implement and Monitor specific contract management systems like fatigue monitoring, seat belt alarms and vehicle telematics;
- Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract;
- Present contract information to relevant stakeholders;
- Assist with the employer's compliance with mandatory standards and updating clients portal sites;
- Asset Management implementation and monitoring;
- Assist in managing Dry Hire and 4WD fleet, including Contract Management and Client Liaison;
- Quoting across the business (tender preparation).
Skills and experience
- Minimum of three years experience in Contract Management or similar role;
- Proficiency in Microsoft office;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- High attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task.
