We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outsourcing Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of outsourcing contracts, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and successful delivery of outsourced services. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

Vendor monitoring:

  • Monitor vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and work collaboratively to address any identified issues.
  • Understand outsourcing contracts from all perspectives including legal, risk and financial, and be able to review performance against SLAs

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with outsourcing contracts and develop strategies to mitigate and manage those risks effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, taking proactive measures to address issues and enhance overall contract performance.

Compliance and legal oversight:

  • Ensure that all technology outsourcing contracts comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any legal issues and mitigate potential risks associated with outsourcing activities

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage the financial aspects of outsourcing contracts, including budgeting, cost control, and invoicing.
  • Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payment processing and adherence to financial terms outlined in contracts.

Communication and collaboration:

  • Foster strong communication channels between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, finance, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of technology outsourcing contracts
  • Regularly update the Commercial and Strategic forum and escalate matters as they arise

Key Capabilities including Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of contract principles, negotiation skills, and experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing complex technology outsourcing contracts
  • Familiarity with legal aspects related to outsourcing agreements, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail in contract review and analysis
  • Ability to demonstrate financial acumen to manage budgets and ensure adherence to financial terms in contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate vendor performance, assess contract effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions
  • A working knowledge of the corporate regulatory environment, governance principles, corporate accountability and conduct frameworks and the process for managing risk.
  • Experience in identifying, assessing, evaluating, and managing risks

Experience required:

  • 6+ years successfully managing complex technology outsourcing contracts, negotiating agreements, and handling various aspects of vendor relationships. (Essential)
  • Proven experience in similar roles (Essential)

Qualifications / Certifications

  • Legal / Finance / Accounting qualification (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • MBA (Preferred but not mandatory)
