Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) is a not-for-profit membership association aimed at increasing the representation of female leaders in the banking and finance sector. WiBF’s corporate members represent major Australian trading banks, investment banks, fund managers, ASX listed corporates, government departments, law firms and accounting firms and collectively employ over 600,000 individuals. We offer education programs and events throughout Australia to support the career aspirations of professionals at all levels within the industry.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity in the banking and finance sector to coordinate monthly events and one of the largest in-person event of the year in Australia for the banking and finance industry, WiBF’s National Industry Awards ceremony. You'll also be tasked with managing unique best practices programs, setting the bar for excellence in our industry for over 100 corporate members. We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual with a passion to innovate and make a difference.
Working closely with the WiBF team members and the CEO, you will be responsible for:
Events coordination
- Managing end-to-end national events, including, the event plan, booking venues, liaising with venue contacts, guests-speakers, key messages, logistics, attendance, ticket sales, sponsorships
- Logistics coordination of in-person and virtual events including ticketing, registration management, room set up, audio visual requirements, resources, catering, administration, and promotion of events
- Monitoring event progress; reporting post events, tracking KPIs and analysis
- Ongoing research and event innovation
Education Delivery
- Leading the implementation of WiBF’s approved education programs (virtual & in-person events) including project plans, booking venues, logistics, attend programs as required
- Maintaining good working relationships with WiBF members and suppliers
- Manage end-to-end WiBF’s programs including suppliers meetings, calendar invites, runsheets, surveys
- Manage and monitor end-to-end membership event and program inclusions by members
- Continuous improvement of WiBF’s education program processes
Other
- Assist CEO and team on ad hoc matters as required
