About the role
The Contract Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with our Meter Provider partners in accordance with contractual obligations. They will ensure compliance with Origins contract management rules and directives, oversee contract governance and assurance, and serve as the primary escalation point for issues and incidents.
Key responsibilities include negotiating contractual terms and conditions, overseeing the end-to-end contract management process, and taking ownership of archival and execution solutions for both existing and future contracts.
Why it matters?
- Lead metering provider operational and performance forums, engaging key stakeholders for contribution.
- Manage and track contract value against spend, service credits and Invoicing.
- Document and manage contractual Incidents, Including delivery for sign-off to management for sign-off.
- Conduct quarterly meetings to help Inform strategic governance meetings.
- Perform monthly contract assurance and governance actions to mitigate risks.
- Escalate key performance gaps and concerns to management.
What you will bring
- 4+ years' experience in commercial, risk, legal management or sales management in a relevant company and industry environment
- Ability to apply commercial and risk management principles in providing pragmatic, results focused advice and decision support.
- High attention to detail and focus on robust processes and controls to manage customer contracts.
- Stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage and influence effectively cross functionally and with external parties.
